“HANSEL VE GRETEL” İLE “DOS HERMANOS” HALK MASALLARINDA MEKÂNSAL DERİNLİK: İŞLEVSEL, ANLAMSAL VE SEMBOLİK ÖZELLİKLERİN KARŞILAŞTIRMASI

Halk masallarında mekânlar anlatı türüne uygun olarak tamamen hayali ve belirsizdir. Olayların geliştiği ve fonksiyonların yürütüldüğü mekânlardan detaysız ve az sayıda sıfatla bahsedilir. Ancak bu yerlerin önemsiz olduğu kanısına varılamaz, zira özellikle Avrupa masallarında masal kahramanlarının etkin olduğu mekânların sembolik anlamları bulunur. Bu da mekânları masalın en önemli unsurlarından biri haline getirir. Edebi incelemelerde çeşitli yöntemlerle yapılan yer ve mekân çözümlemeleri konu hakkında bir fikir birliği olmaması sebebiyle yetersiz kalmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmada öncelikle mekânların sembolik alan, zıt alan, yaşam alanı ve ruhsal alan olarak ayırt edilmesi ve miktar, yapı, gerçeklik, ilişkisellik, bakış açısı, hareket, işlev, görselleştirme ve anlamlandırma gibi önemli faktörler ele alınacaktır. Sonrasında ise 1857 yılına ait onbeş numaralı Grimm Masalı "Hänsel und Gretel" (Hansel ve Gretel) örneği ve Arjantin “Dos Hermanos” (İki Kardeş) masalı öncelikle mekânların işlevsel ve anlamsal açıdan analiz edilecek sonrasında ise bir mekân semboliği incelemesi yapılacaktır.
